Design Thinking methods to enhance innovation, creativity

KUCHING: Agensi Inovasi Malaysia (AIM) is keen to increase awareness on the importance of embracing innovation through various intervention programmes in Sarawak.

AIM chief executive officer Datuk Mark Rozario said a number of such programmes had been planned, agencies under AIM collaborating with relevant state agencies including on biomass development and education.

KUCHING: Sarawak will have its first One-Stop Healthcare Centre for Integrated HIV Treatment, Care and Support next year.

Malaysia AIDS Foundation (MAF) Kuching Gala patron Datin Patinggi Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu, the wife of the Chief Minister, said the centre at Crookshank Road would be close to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH).

RM27.7 billion in revenue expected from franchises

KUCHING: Malaysia expects to register revenue of RM27.7 billion from franchises in the near future.

Deputy Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Henry Sum Agong said the franchise industry had contributed immensely to the countrys gross domestic product last year.

SIBU: Second Finance Minister Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh praised the Chinese community here for their efforts in making Chinese education outstanding in the national education system.

Speaking at the earth-breaking ceremony of SJK(C) Nang Sang new school block costing RM2.3 million in Ulu Sungai Merah yesterday, he said the community had put priority in education development.
